追跡！余った服の行方 Tracking! Whereabouts of extra clothes

食品ロスは聞いたことがあったが、衣服ロスは聞いたことがなかった。
テレビ東京のガイアの夜明けという番組を見て、はじめて知った。
大手のメーカーは、店頭で売れると予想する2倍の量の服を作るという。
え？何で？と思ったが、お店に並べた時に、売れてしまって店がスカスカだと格好悪いからだそうだ。確かに、格好悪いかもしれないが、売り切れるということの方がステイタスなのではないか？
とにかく、「見栄」で無駄を作っていることがわかった。
それを解決しようと、衣服ロス対策に取り組む社長の物語だったが、普段は考えもしなかったことなので、とてもいい番組だった。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)

I've heard about food loss, but never heard of clothing loss.
When I saw the dawn program of Gaia on TV Tokyo, I knew it for the first time.
Large manufacturers say they make twice the amount of clothes they expect to sell in stores.
he? why? I thought it was because when sold at the store, it was sold and it was not cool if the store was sparse. Certainly, it may be awkward, but isn't it the status that it sells out?
Anyway, it turned out that "look" was making waste.
It was a story of the president working on measures against clothing loss to solve it, but it was a very good program because I did not usually think about it. (Photo is an image: pixabay)
