もっと早くに読みたかった。出来れば、40年くらい前に。
とは言え、今と40年前とでは、日本の教育環境も、日本人が世界で働く環境も、そして世界を見る視点も、違っていただろう。
実際、自分も、英語なんて勉強しても、使うことはないのだから、やってもしょうがないと思っていた。
だから、後悔しても仕方がない。
ところで、この本は、今まで読んだ英語本とは、かなり趣が違う。著者のいうようなステップを実践すれば、確かにネイティブ並みになれそうな気がした。
あとは、本気で信じて、真っしぐらに突き進む時間と勇気があるかないかだけだ。
この本は、世界に目を向けている、高校生や大学生が一番のターゲットだと思う。

I wanted to read it sooner. If possible, about 40 years ago.
