「イギリスの失敗」岡部 伸 "British failure" Noburu Okabe

「何故、離脱を選択しちゃったの？」という私の素朴な疑問に、完璧に答えてくれた一冊。
ブレグジットの背景や課題に様々な視点から切り込んでいて、私の頭の中は、とてもクリアになった。
読んで良かった〜〜！とハッキリ言える。
しかし、すでに「合意なき離脱」をしてしまったイギリス政府が、12月までに北アイルランドの国境の件などをどのように対応するかは、全く見当がつかない。
この本を読んだ限りでは、益々混迷が深まりそうだ。
一方、その混迷を喜ぶ北の国があることや、協議の相手型であるEUが何故強硬な態度なのかも、良く理解出来た。
いろんな立場でのいろんな理想、思惑、地政、損得などがあり、この問題は、簡単には解決しそうにない。
ただ、救いと言えるのは、うまく離脱が済んだ暁には、イギリス政府は、日本との関係をさらに重要視することになると、著者が言っていることだ。
今後、この本を読んだ知識をもとに、ブレグジットの動きを見ていくことにする。

One book perfectly answers my simple question, "Why did you choose to leave?"
I cut into the background and issues of Brexit from various perspectives, and my mind became very clear.
It was good to read! I can say clearly.
However, there is no telling how the British government, which has already "breached without agreement", will deal with Northern Ireland's borders by December.
As I read this book, confusion is likely to deepen.
On the other hand, I was able to understand well that there were some northern countries that were pleased with the confusion and why the EU, which was the partner type of the talks, was so stiff.
With a variety of ideals, ideas, geopolitics, and gains and losses in various positions, this problem is unlikely to be easily solved.
The salvation, however, is that the British government will place greater emphasis on Japan's relationship with Japan once it has successfully withdrawn.
In the future, I will look at Brexit's movements based on my knowledge of reading this book.
