人間ドック comprehensive medical examination

恒例の人間ドック。以前は、数年おきに受診していたが、隔年となり、今は毎年受けている。
年齢を重ねるたびに、身体のいろいろなところにガタが来るからだろう。
こちらの方も、毎年受けていると、身体のどこか悪いか、あるいは検査で指摘されるところはどこかなど、大体自分で予測がつく。まあ、それ以外の部分で指摘されると、少し慌てるが、それが早期発見ということに繋がるので、仕方ない。
ところで、検査そのものは、以前に比べて待ち時間も少なく、時間もかからなくなったので、最近はそれほど嫌ではない。
ただ、バリウムを飲んだ後は、いつも辛い。
今回はいつもより多めに下剤をもらったが、バリウム検査だけはなんとかして欲しい。(写真はイメージ画像:pixabay)

However, it is always hard after drinking barium.
