今回は、透明感のある素材ということで、グラスを選んで描いてみた。
透き通った感じは難しく、全くどう描いていいかわからない。
でも、自分の弱点はわかった。「この程度でいいだろう」と勝手に決めてしまい、手を抜いていることだ。
つまり、詳細までじっくり観察して描き込むことをしていないのだ。
そのことを、わかっていたが、時間の制限があるという理由をつけて、適当に仕上げていた。
多分、上手な人はそこらあたりの手を抜かないのだろう。いずれにしても、とにかく描き続けることも大事だと思うので、諦めずに続けてみたい。
A drawing that I draw almost once a week. At that time, I refer to commercially available teaching materials for beginners.
This time, I chose a glass and drew it because it is a transparent material.
It's difficult to feel transparent, and I don't know how to draw it at all.
But I knew my weaknesses. I decided on my own that "this is fine", and I'm cutting corners.
In other words, I didn't carefully observe and draw the details.
I knew that, but I finished it properly, with the reason that there was a time limit.
Perhaps a good person will not cut corners. In any case, I think it's important to continue drawing, so I'd like to continue without giving up.
