Impressive arched bridge, Sumiyoshitaisha Shrine

We finally visited the head office of Sumiyoshi Shrine, which has about 2,300 shrines throughout Japan.

It was not as large as I had imagined beforehand, but it was very strange that there were four main shrines.

Also, after passing through a large torii gate, we crossed a drum bridge called Sori-Bashi(arched bridge), which is said to bring good luck just by crossing it.

Indeed, it was a bit difficult to walk across, perhaps because you need to have healthy legs and feet to cross it.

In any case, I will remember this s ori-bashi bridge when I pay homage to Sumiyoshi Shrine in various places in the future.
