高すぎて現実感なし Too expensive to be realistic

あべのハルカスの展望台に登ってきた。横浜市民としては、ビルとして日本一だったランドマークタワーを上回った憎い建物だ。

だから前回、大阪に来た時には行かなかった。

でも、今回は「いつ死ぬかわからないので、行ける場所には行っておこう」という考え方に切り替わっているので、当然のように行ってみたのだ。

そして、改めて300メートルの高さを感じた。

横浜の場合は、小さくあるいは遠くに見える建物などが概ね分かるので、現実感がある。

しかし、大阪の地理を知らないため、下の風景を見ていても全く現実的な感覚がなかった。

「あんまり高い建物を造る必要はないよ」と他都市の建築や不動産の関係者に言いたい。

I climbed up to the observation deck of Abeno Harukas. As a citizen of Yokohama, I hate this building, which surpassed the Landmark Tower, which was the best building in Japan.

That is why I did not go there the last time I visited Osaka.

But this time, I have switched to the mindset of "I don't know when I will die, so I should go wherever I can," so naturally I went.

And once again, I felt the height of 300 meters.

In Yokohama, you can generally make out small or distant buildings, so it feels real.

However, not knowing the geography of Osaka, I had no sense of reality at all when looking at the landscape below.

I would like to say to those involved in architecture and real estate in other cities, "You don't need to build too many tall buildings.
