素晴らしいモンベル Excellent mont-bell [Impression]
少し前に、横断歩道を歩いていたら、風で折り畳み傘の柄の部分が抜けてしまった。
その日はなんとか手で押さえながら過ごしたが、翌日にモンベルのお店に修理の依頼をした。
お店のスタッフからは、修理代として1100円くらいかかること、生産が間に合っていないタイプで部品がないと時間がかかることを伝えられた。
もともと、私のお気に入りの晴雨兼用傘だし、今は新規に買うことが出来ないことを知っていたので、いつまでも待つのは仕方ないと思っていた。
その後、思いの外早めに電話があったが、その際の説明では、調べたら部品が不良品だとのこと。
そのため、修理代は無料とのことだった。それは助かると思い、さらに待ち続けたら、品物が届いたとのこと。
早速、お店に取りに行ったら、なんと、なんと新品のもの。
「あれ?どうして?」とスタッフに聞いたら、同じ部品もなく不良品だったので、新品になったとのこと。
以前の修理代は100円だったりしてそれも驚いたが、今回はさらに驚いた。
より一層、モンベルが好きになった。
Not long ago, I was walking in a crosswalk and the wind pulled the handle off of my folding umbrella.
I managed to hold it in place with my hand that day, but the next day I asked a Mont-bell store to repair it.
The staff at the store told me that it would cost about 1,100 yen to repair it and that it was a type that was not produced in time and that it would take time to get the parts.
Since it was originally my favorite sunshade umbrella and I knew that I could not buy a new one now, I thought it was inevitable that I would have to wait forever.
Then I got a call earlier than I expected, and the explanation at that time was that the part was defective when I checked it out.
Therefore, they said there would be no charge for the repair. I thought that would be helpful, so I waited some more and was told that the item had arrived.
I immediately went to the store to pick it up, and lo and behold, it was a brand new one.
I thought to myself, "What? Why?" I asked the staff, and they told me that it was a new one because there were no identical parts and it was defective.
I was surprised that the repair cost was 100 yen in the past, but this time I was even more surprised.
I like mont-bell even more now.

確かにそのとおりです。スタッフに以前聞いた時、製品を長く使い続けてもらいたいとのことで、修理代はとても安く抑えていると聞きました。今回は無料でしかも新品交換でしたので、とても驚きましたが。
