残念ながら保証の対象にはならずに、有償での修理となった。
それは仕方がないにしても、実は14日の土曜日には持ち込んだ店舗には戻って来てたようだ。
あまりに時間がかかるので、電話で確認したら、「ショートメールでお知らせしたはずです。」とのこと。
でも、確認したが、送られた形跡はないので、少し憤慨しながらも、窓口の店員さんにあまり文句を言っても無料になるわけでもないので、大人しく引き上げて来た。
今後は、絶対に落とさないことと、小さな子供の目の前には置かないことにするしかない。
My camera was dropped and broken by a 4 year old on New Year's Day. Well, technically, the lens just broke, but I finally got it back.
Unfortunately, it was not covered by warranty and had to be repaired for a fee.
That was unavoidable, but it seems that it was actually returned to the store where I brought it in on Saturday the 14th.
Since it was taking so long, I called to confirm and was told, "We should have notified you by short mail." I was told that it had been notified by short mail.
But I checked, and there was no sign that it had been sent. I was a little resentful, but complaining too much to the clerk at the counter would not get me a free ride, so I pulled up quietly.
The only thing I can do from now on is to never drop it and never put it in front of small children.
遅くとも直ってよかったですね。カメラはひょっとしたはずみによく壊します。

JUNKO様、コメントありがとうございます。そのとおりなんですね。かなり繊細だということが分かりました。今後は生まれたばかりの赤ちゃんを抱くように扱うようにしないとならないと思ってます。
