「彼女の家計簿」原田ひ香 "Her Account Book" Hika Harada

これまで一度も読んだことのない作家さんなので、どんな作風なのかを知りたくて読んでみた。

タイトルの「彼女」というのは、主人公にあたるシングルマザーの祖母という設定。

第二次世界大戦当時のとても厳しい社会環境の中で結婚、出産、そして先生とした働いた人が家計簿をつけていたことをキーワードに物語は展開する。

なので、現代と過去が同時進行するのだが、少しずつ解明する事実に、どんどんとのめり込んでしまった。

登場人物はほぼ女性であり、出てくる男性はほぼろくでなしという設定は、現実を表しているのだろうか？

そんな厳しい現実の中でも、様々な事情を抱えて懸命に生きようとする女性を応援しようとするために、この本は書かれたように感じた。

著者の他の作品も読んでみたいと思っている。

I've never read this author before, so I wanted to know what kind of style he wrote, so I read it.

The title "Her" is the setting of her main character, the grandmother of a single mother.

The story unfolds with the keyword that people who married, gave birth, and worked as teachers in the very harsh social environment of World War II kept a household account book.

So, the present and the past progressed at the same time, but I became more and more absorbed in the facts that were revealed little by little.

Does the setting that the characters are mostly women and the men that appear are mostly bastards represent reality?

Even in such a harsh reality, I felt that this book was written to support women who are trying to live hard despite various circumstances.

I would like to read the author's other works.
