早太郎温泉 和みの湯宿 なかやま Hayataro Onsen, a relaxing hot spring inn, Nakayama

駒ヶ根高原にある信州伝統の本棟造りの宿。
木造2階建て、切妻造り妻入り、緩やかな勾配の屋根、雀おどしなど伝統文化の古民家の形が特徴。

勿論、新しくはないが、風情があり落ち着いた雰囲気が静かに旅を楽しめた。宿泊客も若い家族連れなどはおらず、高年齢の方を多く見かけた。

部屋は驚いたことに、和室8畳が2つ、6畳が2つ、洗面もトイレも2つずつという広さ。

食事は、朝夕共に同じ畳にテーブル形式の個室で、ほかの宿泊客の声さえ聞こえない。

手の込んだ料理も美味しく、また、スタッフも明るく気さくな人ばかりだった。

早太郎というのは、近くにある光前寺の伝説の犬の名前であり、それが温泉名として残っている。

檜の内湯と露天風呂が2つずつあり、日によって男湯と女湯が変わるので、両方のお風呂を楽しめた。

訪れた時は雨模様だったが、その雨の雰囲気にぴったりのしっとりとした質感の宿だった。

It features a two-story wooden structure, a gabled wife, a gently sloping roof, and the shape of an old folk house with traditional culture such as a sparrow dance.

Of course, it's not new, but I enjoyed the trip quietly with a tasteful and calm atmosphere. There were no guests with young families, and I saw many older people.

Surprisingly, the room is two 8 tatami mats, two 6 tatami mats, and two washbasins and two toilets.

Meals are served in a private table-style room on the same tatami mat in the morning and evening, and even the voices of other guests cannot be heard.

The elaborate food was delicious, and the staff were all cheerful and friendly.

Hayataro is the name of the legendary dog ​​at the nearby Kozenji Temple, which remains as the name of the hot spring.

There are two cypress indoor baths and two open-air baths, and the men's and women's baths change depending on the day, so I enjoyed both baths.

It was raining when I visited, but it was an inn with a moist texture that was perfect for the rainy atmosphere.
