I found a longing Japan by walking in the back alleys of the world" Takashi Hayasaka [Impression]

"Where are Buryats?"
The author says that Japanese roots are Buryats? It is said that there is a survey result.
Buryats are a Mongolian people who lived around Lake Baikal in Siberia.
If you ask, it is true that there are many Mongolians who are indistinguishable from Japanese compared to Chinese and Koreans.
As the title of the book suggests, the experience of walking in the back alleys of the world is very valuable. However, it is not just a travel report. War, civil war, socialism, religion, and poverty and discrimination. Such themes can be seen and hidden. On top of that, he talks about how Japan and the Japanese people are viewed from such areas from an objective point of view. The description of Japan's goodness from such a broad perspective is very convincing.
Of particular interest was the fact that there was a person who helped the persecuted Jews two years before Chiune Sugihara, a diplomat famous for helping many Jews.
Kiichiro Higuchi, Vice Admiral of the Army. It is said that it was the Otpor case, but since Mr. Higuchi was a soldier, it seems that it was not taken up very much.
In Israel, which can be said to be the homeland of the Jews, it seems that they went out and wandered even though there was a ban on going out. Then, he was on the verge of being shot by a soldier with a rifle. If it was a Palestinian, the author shouted Yapan (Japan) and Yapani (Japanese) with a resolute attitude while even a child was killed. As a result, I was paralyzed by the episode that I was not shot.
The following is a spoiler, but I am very impressed, so I will quote it.
"I thought it was helped by the name of the nation called Japan. I couldn't be shot because of the history of the nation, that is, the image of the nation built up by the wisdom and efforts of our predecessors. The nation protects the people in this way. The reverse would also be true. 』\
This word was very impressive.
This book has many such discoveries.
