即位礼正殿の儀 The coronation court

昨日、天皇陛下が即位を宣明された。伝統に則った素晴らしい儀式であった。
天皇陛下の古式装束をテレビで拝見して思ったことは、いかに長きに渡り、日本の天皇制度が続いてきたかだ。
初代の神武天皇は伝承上の天皇との説もあり、本当にどの天皇からが実在したのかは、諸説あるようだ。
いずれにしても、他国にはないほど、長きに渡り天皇が存在していたことは間違いなく、そうした点においても、唯一の存在無二の存在であることを、諸外国に伝えることが出来た儀式だった。
今後、更に様々な儀式が続いていくが、改めて天皇がいることの有難さとその国の国民として、誇りを持って生きて行こう。(写真は宮内庁HP)

Yesterday, the Emperor was declared throne. It was a wonderful ritual in accordance with tradition.
What I thought of watching the Emperor's ancient costumes on TV was how long the Japanese Emperor system continued.
There is a theory that the first Emperor Jinmu emperor is a traditional Emperor, and there are various theories about which Emperor really existed.
In any case, there was no doubt that the Emperor had existed for a long time like no other country, and even in that respect, I was able to tell other countries that it was the only one and only existence. It was a ritual.
